This Govember 9th 2013 the Go DJs hosted their 5th annual conference and networking suite (#BUMC2013). It catered to all entertainment industry professionals. The conference was held at The Hangar located at 1511 South Rendon St. in New Orleans, La. It featured live performances by artists from near and afar. Special guest speakers Reid Wick (Grammy Awards Committee) and Jus Cookie (The Cookie Jar) gave us priceless information that will last a lifetime. Below you’ll read a little history about the conference and you’ll be able to somewhat relive our experience. The event’s constant success is spearheaded by the Ceo of Go DJ’s Louisiana Go Dj Black N Mild and the entire Go DJs La Family.

Go DJ Black N Mild

Who We Are: The Go DJ’s Louisiana is a FAMILY of DJ’s, emcee’s, promoters, producers, models, Etc. We work as a unit to help break artists and their music. Community service is also important to us so annually we host a school supply drive. Some of the other types of events that we host are music conferences, open mic/ club nights, and car washes. Our Purpose: The BUMC Network Suite is our yearly music conference that takes place the first weekend of Govember (November). The BUMC Network Suite was established in 2008, we are currently in our 5th year. The purpose of the BUMC is to bring together the regional music industry for networking purposes. The concept was conceived by me initially, but my Go Fam has also helped tremendously with planning and execution process.

Our Goals: Attendees can expect to learn about modern promotions, copyright information, inner workings of radio (traditional & internet), and more! This year’s performers are listed above. Last year we honored these Louisiana legends: Wild Wayne, Partners N Crime, Dj Marquis, Dj Nonstop & Dj Raj Smoove. Some of our past performances have included Papa Rue, Mannie Fresh, B.G., Fiend, Mia X, and Ms. Tee just to name a few. This year’s guest hosts and panel members were Reid Wick (Grammy Awards Committee) and Jus Cookie (The Cookie Jar). The panels ranged from radio & promotion to 360 deals, and how to get your music into films and video games.

Performance Rates: Performance packages are $200 for 7 minutes. No song limit, just a time limit. Product distribution is ON-SITE only. Vendors of all type are welcomed to register.

EARLY BIRD registration dates will always be mentioned in advance of the conference.  There will also be advance dates for  Discounted Registration. Onsite registration is $20(No Exceptions) We also have sponsorship packages (starting at $500) available, but a deadline for securing sponsorships, which will also be mentioned in advance.
